About Me

Maria Piñero Pope is a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist and writer of children's books. She currently rides picture books and middle grade novels.

 

  Born in Puerto Rico, Maria is passionate about infusing her culture and language into her books.  When she's not working or writing, Maria enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids and mischievous dog in Decatur, GA.
